We’re on the lookout for a friendly and enthusiastic CAPS Expert to be a key part of our CAPS (Computer-Aided Production System) adventure. Working alongside IoT Engineers, IT wizards, business champions, and colleagues from all around the world, you’ll be diving into the exciting world of PTC ThingWorx (TWX) and making production operators’ lives easier.

• Being the go-to support expert for CAPS and TWX, including testing and handling changes, upgrades, and enhancements.

• Documenting what you do, including handy training materials.
• Providing second-level support regionally, helping solve production problems round the clock.
• Sharing your knowledge and supporting our key users.
• Keeping things shipshape with ITIL change management processes.
• Offering a helping hand in IT projects related to CAPS/TWX, from system setup to user training and more.
• Collaborating with our awesome production and cross-functional teams.

What we’re looking for:

• To thrive in this role, you should bring some basic know-how in machine connectivity or Manufacturing Execution Systems, or other production-related software (like CNC digital tools).
• Plus, a little familiarity with PTC ThingWorx, PTC Kepware, and JavaScript can go a long way.
• You’ll need to be comfortable with Windows Server OS and MS SQL server environments, and be a pro at SQL queries.
• If you have some basic programming knowledge and can handle debugging, that’s a bonus.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies like PMP, ASAP, or Agile/Scrum is appreciated. 
• And if you’re good at developing functional specifications for system enhancements and can talk to business users to figure out what they need, you’re definitely our kind of person.
